Not in one profession. In most of them at once, and quickly. The tasks that used to be handed to the newest person — small, well-defined, forgiving, and boring to everyone senior — are the tasks a model now finishes in a second. That was never busywork. That was the apprenticeship, disguised as a backlog.

So entire professions kept the requirement for experience and quietly deleted the place you used to get it. Job adverts still ask for two years. The rung people used to stand on to earn the first one is gone, and nobody rebuilt it.

Erfara is one attempt at rebuilding that entrance, for software. Not a course and not a certificate: a first year compressed into twenty office days, and two levels after it in twenty more, at companies that do not exist — where the ticket, the deadline, the review and the record are real. You do not leave with a badge. You leave with a repository, and with the experience of having been read.

Software first, because it is the trade we know and because its evidence is public by default. A repository is something a stranger can check. Whether the same idea holds anywhere else is a question for later, and we will not claim it early.
